Doggy sister 🐕🧍🏻‍♀️

I'm María, a newly graduated in engineering at DTU. Since I came to Denmark more than a year ago, I have missed the daily joy that a dog brings. Now that I have free time and I miss my dogs, I would love to spend time with other pets in my Danish adventure.🐶✨ My caring for a Dog During a Sitting: - Feeding and Water: I ensure the dog has access to fresh water and provide them with the appropriate amount of food per their schedule and dietary needs. - Exercise and Play: Dogs need exercise and mental stimulation. I take them for walks, play with them, and engage in activities they enjoy. - Comfort and Safety: I provide a safe and comfortable environment for the dog. This includes a clean area to sleep, shelter from extreme weather, and secure fencing if they are in a yard. - Medication and Health: If the dog has specific medical needs, I administer medication orally as prescribed. Be aware of any health concerns and contact the owner if issues arise. - Social Interaction: Dogs are social animals. I spend time with them, give them attention, and ensure they are not left alone for extended periods. - Grooming and Hygiene: Depending on the breed, dogs may need grooming, brushing, and regular checks for cleanliness and overall health. - Communication with Owner: I keep open and transparent communication with the dog's owner. Keep them informed of how their pet is doing, especially if there are any concerns or unexpected issues. My availability: - Full availability. - I coordinate with the dog's owner to establish clear expectations and times for feeding, walks, and any other specific needs the dog may have. Breeds or Types of Dogs I prefer: - Small, medium, and big dogs. Since I was 8 years old I grew up with my dog Yuna, a Bichon Maltese puppy who became my best friend for 16 years. When Yuna was a bit older she had 4 puppies, which stayed at home for 4 months, and finally Jerry joined our family together with Yuna as the happiest dogs I have ever known: three walks a day to do their business and socialise with their friends in the park, three meals a day, weekly grooming, at least one bath a month and always lots and lots of love. 🦴🛁🐕🤍 I also have five years of experience caring for Kala, Naia, and Bach. They were an American Bully XL, a Great Dane, and a Saint Bernard. Despite their intimidating appearances, they had enormous hearts and always sought companionship and attention, which I gladly provided. The dogs will share my 30 square meter bedroom to sleep, ensuring they are never left alone. I am located just a 3-minute walk from Fælledparken, offering ample space for them to run freely and socialize with other dog friends on long walks. Additionally, I am conveniently close to Sortedam Sø, providing a beautiful environment for leisurely walks with the dogs.
