Om Florentina
A stay with us is a perfect combination between a loving home and a hundepension. During a [døgnpasning] or [dagspasning] you’ll get a 1-to-1 level of care for your dog and a good balance between activities to keep them satisfied mentally & physically and lots of rest.
Some examples (where it makes sense): play that engages their breed specific instincts, easy agility exercises if they're healthy and up for it, beginner nose work or engagement games, etc.
I like to do this on single walks as well [luftning service]

My own social and well-mannered dog loves companions and would love to welcome yours into our home in Ørestad city area, where we have access to a variety of nature & parks where we regularly go for long fulfilling walks.
If you’re curious what we do, we are very transparent on Instagram @giphythewhippy where you can see current dogs in my care.
I tend to max. 3 dogs at a time (2 guests + my resident dog), granted that the chemistry is there between the dogs and we agreed beforehand your dog would feel comfortable in that possible setup. Realistically I can equally care for all 3, but I do have a preference towards crate-trained dogs and/or dogs that know how to switch-off indoors or already know some commands & boundries.
When boarding [døgnpasning] I don’t have a strict routine, as I like to mould the day after our guest(s) and the habits they come in with. But, you can expect that your dog will have 3+ potty breaks per day; one long walk in the middle of the day, when we usually balance between some structured walking, play & freedom to do what fullfills them (safely on long lines or in a fenced dog forrest if they have good history interacting with other dogs)
I am not a dog trainer, so I will not 'teach' your dog anything new, but I will make use whatever skills I notice they may have already. And, of course, report back to you on whatever talents we have discovered!
I have experience with dogs of all ages (oldest was 14) and different breeds and sizes: whippets, australian shepherds, poodles, scottish terriers, french bulldogs, most recently a doberman & mixed breeds. That means that if your dog comes with some grooming maintenance requirements, I will of course also do that.
I don’t own a car, but I have a bike trailer, a bike basket in the front and a dog backpack, all tested by mine and our friends’ dogs. I mostly move around by public transport though, if we need to leave Ørestad. If your dog requires urgent medical attention, our trusted vet is 6 mins away by car.
Since 2023, when I brought home my whippet puppy - Giphy - I became obsessed with dogs and learning everything about their wellbeing. Through our dog training community, I met many like-minded owners and took care of some of their dogs. What initially it started as quid-pro-quo service, I’m now turning into a part-time labor of love.
Raising my puppy also means I have ample experience in dealing with the growth phases and I know how hard it can be on you, the human. If you need a break from them, I can take them on a tiring walk so you can have a breather!
Giphy 🐶, me 👩🏻 & my boyfriend 🧔🏻 live in a 4 room apartment in Ørestad city. To maintain everybody's safety & healthy boundaries, we generally use dog crates. In the case that your is taught to safely free-roam, we can allow that. But you should know ahead that, if during the stay, they show any signs of resources guarding or aggression, that free-roaming permission will be removed.
The dogs are allowed to sleep with us and to be on the couch. We try to keep a tidy place, so we clean the dogs’ paws before the last walk of the day.
All I ask from your dogs is that they get along well with my dog & can stay at home alone without trouble. When booking, I will send you a packing list and must-haves (e.g. a list of words/commands the dog knows so I can use them (any language is fine)).
Any questions prior to booking, shoot me a message or this intro would get even longer!
